PETER LANGHAM Obituary

December 30, 1940 – November 20, 2024 After a brave battle with leukemia, Peter Langham passed away with his wife and eldest son by his side. Beloved husband of 55 years to Dell; dear father to his sons and their families, Simon and Michelle, Geoffrey and Vicky; and much loved granddad to Isabel, Elise, Gemma and Sophie. Survived by his brother, John; predeceased by his sister, Margaret. An Englishman from Hinckley in Leicestershire, he left with a degree in Engineering and a desire to see the world, he arrived at his new home in Canada in time for Expo '67. After a few years and a few jobs, he became a Portfolio Manager and thrived at it. He thoroughly enjoyed his career and the many friends he made in the industry. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 8th, from 1:30 – 4:00 p.m. at Markland Woods Golf Club in Etobicoke. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Covenant House would be appreciated. Sorry to hear Peter has passed. He was instrumental in the start of my career in the money management business. Will be missed. Condolences to Dell and family.

When I was a young girl, I always cherished the beautiful stain glass pieces my Uncle Peter created. The bathroom window, the light over the kitchen table and the stunning jewelry box he and my Auntie Dell gifted me at Christmas.

I anlways enjoyed conversations with Peter at the golf club. He was a caring man with a wonderful personality. We will miss him at Markland.
