Peter OOMEN Obituary
OOMEN, Peter Anthony
Born August 3, 1940 in
Eindhoven, Netherlands. Peter
died peacefully at his daughter's
home in Caledon, Ontario
surrounded by family on
February 19, 2017. He is
survived and will be deeply
missed by his children, Ingrid
Oomen (Asad Wali) and Tanja
Oomen (Joseph Danckert) and
grandchildren Ranen and Kiefer
He was the cherished brother of
Corie, Rita (Henk), Nellie, John,
Cathy (Les) and Tony and uncle
to his many nieces and
nephews. He is preceded in
death by his son, Iwan Oomen,
and parents Peter and Mary
Oomen.
To honour Peter's diverse life
and free spirit, a memorial
celebration will take place at The
Alton Mill on Sunday, February
26th at 1 pm. Visitation/ Reception is Sunday, February
26th from 2-4 pm. People are
welcome to attend either or
both. If desired, donations may
be made in Peter's memory to
The Alzheimer Society of Canada
or Canadian Cancer Society.
