January 24, 1943 – September 21, 2025 His family mourns Peter's passing after a short illness. He is dearly remembered and forever cherished by his wife, Gisela; daughter, Stephanie; brother, Karel; and grandchildren, Oscar, Chloe and Connor. Peter will be remembered as a true gentleman – charming, loving and wise. He carried himself with quiet strength and elegance that touched everyone who knew him. A natural storyteller, he loved to share memories of his life and travels. In the kitchen, he was a wonderful chef, delighting family and friends with meals that were as heartfelt as they were delicious. Above all, he was deeply devoted to those he loved, leaving behind a legacy or warmth, kindness, and cherished memories. A short memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd, at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1535 South Gateway Rd., Mississauga.
