We were sad to hear of Peter.s death. We go a long way back as friends of the Thompson family including his mother Ella and sister Anne in 1940 and then his extended family with Joan. We remember very happy times golfing and lunching in Sanibel for many years.
Our affectionate sympathy to all his family.

I keep fond memories of Peter, first when we were on Test together in the Switchgear and Large Motors areas, during the latter part of 1950, and later when he worked in Application Engineering in Peterborough. My thoughts and prayers are with the family in this difficult time. Marc Vermette, Montreal. (CGE Test '50)

Anne, Ian, Michael and David....the Eastcotts are saddened to hear your father Peter has passed. We have many happy memories of Peter and Joan at Clear Lake, Bethany ski club, etc Peter was part of that group of adults who learned an instrument mid-life with PF. What fun they all had. I was on the Board of St. Joseph's At Fleming with Peter for many years. He was a respected, pragmatic voice who eagerly contributed his valuable experience. I'm sorry to hear of his passing.
