November 10, 1931- December 19, 2025 Peter Llewelyn Webb passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, at Burloak Extendicare Long Term Care. The loving husband of Joan for 63 years, Peter was predeceased by his brother, Jeffrey. He was the devoted father of Robert (Susan), Stuart (Machiko) and Joanna (John) and grandfather of Olivia, Lachlan, Lucy, Liam and Owen. He will be greatly missed by all. Peter was born in Croydon, South London to Mary (née Bioletti) and Noel Webb on November 10, 1931. Educated at Middle Whitgift School, he immigrated to Canada in 1965 with Joan and ultimately settled in Burlington, Ontario. Peter had a long and successful career in the financial services industry, working in accounting and compliance at Wood Gundy, Burns Fry and Jones Gable. A man of few words and a dry sense of humour, Peter loved sports, especially tennis, and played in junior Wimbledon and later in club leagues in Canada. A lifelong supporter of Crystal Palace F.C., Peter was delighted to see them win the FA Cup Final in 2025. He enjoyed travelling, hiking, gardening, languages, card games and all sorts of puzzles. The family would like to say a special thank you to Robyn, Nina and Shannan at Sunrise of Burlington and Heather, Erin, Renee and Dr. Elmasry and the caring staff at Burloak Extendicare Long Term Care for keeping him comfortable in his final months and weeks. Private services will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations to Doctors Without Borders would be appreciated by the family.
