Suddenly on Thursday, June 9, 2011, in Ottawa, at the age of 50 years. Peter husband of Debora. Loving father of Dylan. Dearly loved son of Donald Whitfield (Barbara) and the late Donna Whitfield. Dear brother of Daniel (Cindy), Jamie (Janice), Myles, Angela (Keith) Thomson and Roxane Alderson. Grandson of Isabelle and the late Cowden Whitfield. Peter will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews The family will receive relatives and friends at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia on Monday, June 20 from 1 - 2. A celebration of life service will follow at the chapel. Interment will take place at St. Andrews - St. James Cemetery, Orillia. If desired memorial donations to the Orillia YMCA would be appreciated.
