CAMPBELL, Phyllis Audrey (nee Thomson) July 6, 1917 - September 23, 2007
Passed peacefully following a short illness at the Toronto Western Hospital. Audrey was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Elwood (1991), her parents Roy and Edna Thomson, her brother Ken and sister Irma. Loving mother to Linda and her husband Michael Cruickshank, Gaye and her husband Murray Farncombe and Susan and her husband John Grange. Cherished grandmother of Lisa (Mike), Jamie (Katherine), Graham (Natalie), Matthew, Travis, Kaelen, Tyler, Dylan, Brennan and Ariel and great-grandmother of 8. She was an active participant in and had a great love for the Standardbred Racing Industry throughout her life. She will be remembered for her generosity, quick wit and strong love for her family. Private family funeral followed by a public reception and celebration of Audrey's life at The Oakville Club, 56 Water Street, Oakville, Ontario L6J 4Y3 (905-845-0231) on Friday, September 28th, from 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Campbell Family Institute at the Princess Margaret Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
