Anne and family,
I am so very grateful to have known Michael. It was such a privilege to work beside him at your Muskoka home for a number of years and spending time with both him and you Anne. Michael had the best stories, and shared with me many of his adventures through his life. We shared many moments of laughter and warmth.
My wife Karen, while never actually having met Michael in person, spent much time chatting with him on the phone and was very fond of the man she had never met. He many times sent a "little something" home with me to take Karen out for dinner. When selling their home in Muskoka, Michael shared a couple of pieces of furniture with us that have a place of honour in our home and always bring special memories of him to us when we look at them. Sending love and hugs to you Anne and your family.

Mike, handsome, kind, caring, very gentle and very generous. I will certainly miss our adventures during walks. I will probably never know another man that had 2 barbers in a 3hr walk. Funny conversations like...."I would go away and work and when I came home their was always another one in the crib"......generous to a fault....."No Mike you really don't need to tip ambulance drivers"
I am so blessed I got to take him on swing rides at the hospital and personally say goodbye. There is no doubt in my mind that Mike knew how "LOVED" he was by Anne, Sue, Andy, Tim, and his grandchildren, that's for sure. You get what you give, he was a giver, love, heart, soul to so many. Always remembered, never forgotten, we had many memorable walks and talks, that will always stay in my heart, memories last forever
Much love and hugs to the entire family you are all amazing nice, kind, generous people
RIP uncle Mike.......xo Cat

Anne and family, I remember fondly my time with Mike in Cornwall growing up, at Queen's and in Montreal, and wish you all the best. Mike's cheerfulness and enthusiasm under all circumstances were much appreciated and an inspiration. His was a life well lived.

We met Mike and Anne during their retirement years in Muskoka. We joined a dinner club and stayed friends for over twenty years. Mike was a really fun guy to be around. He always had a big smile and a positive attitude. He will be missed by all.
