Marie Chidley and I arrived in Edmonton on March 17, 1998. We met Raj and Swinder soon after, and discovered that they too had arrived in Canada on the same date, but in 1967. Raj was an inspiration in the continuing struggle for social justice outcomes wherever he lived. Debonair, kind, thoughtful and an inspiration to us over our shared time in Alberta.
