At home, with family at his side, on Friday, January 4, 2002. Ramiro was born in Bogota, Colombia June 13, 1953. Writer, musician, actor, filmmaker, father, lover and friend, Ramiro will be lovingly remembered by his wife Leslie Lester and their sons Milo and René, his mother Ligia Puerta Zuluaga, brothers David, Fernando, Horacio, German, and sisters Marta and Teresita. He was predeceased by his father Emilio, and his sister Gloria. His spirit, humour and boundless energy have touched the lives of hundreds of friends and colleagues around the world. The family wishes to express its deepest gratitude to the Temmy Latner Palliative Care team.
