FAVREAU, Raymond 1932-2009 Raymond died peacefully at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, on December 26, 2009 after his 2 year struggle with pancreatic cancer. Raymond will be sadly missed by his wife Anne Hubbard, his daughter Lise (Will Lowen), his stepdaughter Tatiana Kitsikis, his stepson Nicolas Kitsikis (Varuni Singh) and his grandchildren Simon, Gabrielle, Stéphane, Sadhuvasi and Kshanavani.
Raymond will also be missed by his extended family, his many friends and his former colleagues at SNC- Lavallin where he worked for many years as a senior counsel.
Raymond will be remembered fondly as a man of strong principals, with a tireless belief in social justice.
Raymond's family wishes to thank the staff at the palliative care unit at the Jewish General Hospital for their attentive and gentle care in Raymond's last two months. Raymond's family is also grateful to the Millenium Health Centre in Cornwall, Ontario, for the many months of intravenous vitamin C treatment, which allowed Raymond to enjoy life for longer than expected.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Raymond to Ecojustice Canada, to Amnesty International or to a charity of your choice.
