It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Rhona Dale Leith on December 10, 2025, in Toronto, Ontario. She was born on October 10, 1951, in Montreal, a city that she adored. She was a loving wife to Mark; an adored mother to Jordan and Gabrielle; and beloved Bubbie to Raylan. Rhona enjoyed cooking for her family and teaching her grandson how to make crisps. She loved the arts and, in her retirement, especially enjoyed becoming a theatre clown and taking on leadership roles with act2studio. Her greatest passion was spending time with her family, including her husband, children and grandson. Rhona will be remembered for her sense of humour, wit, integrity, love of the arts and the impact she had on her students. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Thank you to the staff at Sunnybrook Hospital, especially those in the Odette Cancer Centre and the Palliative Care Unit. A graveside service will be held at Mount Sinai Cemetery in the Young Men's Hebrew section, located at 986 Wilson Ave., on Thursday, December 18th at 10:30 a.m. This will be followed immediately by a celebration of life at the family's home. An additional day of shiva sitting will be held on Saturday, December 20th, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the family's home. Memorial donations may be made to Act2 Studio Works (
act2studioworks.ca/donate/) and a blood donation through Canadian Blood Services (
www.blood.ca) in honour of Rhona.
