(April 28, 1927 – August 28, 2025). Predeceased by his wife, Theresa, née Dwyer, father to Lynn and Karen. Grandfather to Thomas, and great-grandfather to Ethan. Known to quote random bits of poetry, he took Dylan Thomas to heart and did not go gently into that great night. Born, raised, educated, worked and lived in Toronto. Proud, conscientious and disciplined, despite his reserved nature he thought deeply about things. He had an amazing memory of family history, to the delight of relatives interested in the colourful details he could provide. With the ability to repair just about anything, his fixes were practical, if not always aesthetically pleasing; he enjoyed the challenge of the problem. Pleased to have made it to his 99th year, though he did say "Don't get old, you won't like it." Heartfelt thanks to the many caregivers in the last months of life, particularly those at Princess Margaret and Toronto General hospitals. Private arrangements have already taken place.
