Dear Lynne and family,
I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear the news. Reflecting on many warm encounters at the theatre and some of the funniest emails I will ever receive. Eric is a true one of a kind: caring, generous and all around wonderful. Grateful to have had a chance to know him.
Keeping you in my heart and praying that your memories continue to be a bright blessing.
With all my love ~

Ricky was in my religious school class at Holy Blossom Temple and in my Hebrew class starting at age 9. Seventy years have passed and those memories are with me still. I recall we were expelled from class as we broke down giggling about the torn seam in the teacher's pants. I missed reconnecting with Rick at many of the UTS reunions. His smile and laughter will reverberate in me for as many years as I have left.

A very kind man, who I wish I had the opportunity to meet in person before he passed to say thank you. I will always remember him.

I already miss our phone conversations, his humour, humility, kindness and his honesty.

I always enjoyed our times together from out time at UTS. And I especially enjoyed Rick's sense of humour. And I've heard very positive comments from other class members also!! Very sad to lose our "old friend".
