(1943 - 2025) Bob died peacefully, on July 1, 2025, at age 82, near his home and surrounded by his loving family at La Maison des Collines Palliative Care Home in Wakefield, Québec. He was adored by his wife, Susan Goodson; his children, Margot (Michael Gullo), Robin (Ben Siversky), and Graham (Komal Atkinson); and his grandchildren, Nora, Liliana, Saveria, Maeve, and Lottie. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Judy Wayland (Bert); brother-in-law, Tony Goodson (Bruni); and his beloved cat, Kody. Born and raised in Montreal, Bob attended CMR and Sir George Williams (now Concordia) University. A lifelong learner and adventurer, he travelled to 31 countries over the course of a year before beginning a decade-long career at IBM. In 1978, he and "Suzy" bought a hobby farm, started a family, and later moved to Toronto after Bob and a trusted partner founded a successful business, Atkinson Tremblay and Associates. All the while, Bob found time to pursue his passions, including car racing, rowing, music, skiing, scuba diving, and windsurfing. Bob loved to give back; he volunteered as an adaptive ski instructor and supported children's charities. Above all else, he was a devoted family man who cherished time with his children and grandchildren - on the ski hill, on the water, in his woods, cheering them on, and taking every opportunity to share his curiosity and love of nature. As per his wishes, there will be no funeral service. Bob generously chose to donate his body to the Body Donor Program at McGill University. After battling Alzheimer's and cancer, Bob's final days were peaceful thanks to the compassionate care provided by the staff at La Maison des Collines. Donations in his memory would be gratefully accepted by: La Maison des Collines, 99 chemin Burnside, La Pêche, Québec J0X 3G0 (
