FERGUSON, Robert Daniel(Retired employee of Gulf Oil Canada Ltd., Past Master of the Orient Lodge Toronto)
On Thursday, March 29, 2001, age 88 years. After a brief illness, in Toronto East General Hospital. Beloved husband for 59 years of the late Violet Ferguson (Collins). Lovingly missed by his son Norman and his wife JoAnne, granddaughters Lori-Anne, Andrea and Marcia. Bob was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia in 1912. He loved to reminisce about his Cape Breton days and he was very proud of his Scottish heritage. After retiring from Gulf Oil, Bob and Vi wintered in Panama City Beach, Florida and enjoyed many old and new friendships. Bob will be fondly remembered by the members of The Noah's Ark Club in Florida where he enjoyed organizing the Robbie Burns night and calling the square dances. Many thanks to the caregivers at East York Community Care, Meals-On-Wheels and Toronto East General Hospital for all their support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Toronto East General Hospital. Visitation at the PAUL O'CONNOR FUNERAL HOME, 1939 Lawrence Avenue East (Between Warden and Pharmacy) from 10 a.m. until service and committal in our chapel at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2001.
