I still remember with pleasure, the many times that Gay dropped in to my hospital room at the Queen E, where I spent nearly 6 weeks in traction for a badly broken leg. He would both amuse and commiserate with me, as he sat and relaxed for a few minutes. His visits certainly helped those long days go by.

I knew Dr. Goodall when I was a student the QEHM Class of '61. He was always kind and respectful to the nurses. Not always the case in those days. My sympathies to his family and friends.

Our deepest sympathy to all your family. We have many memories of Dr. Goodall's caring compassion for all his patients. He was a delight to work with and remains a fine example of commitment to profession and family and friends.

My sincere sympathy to all of you. I worked with Dr. Goodall at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and he was one of our very favourite surgeons.
