ROBERT (BOB) KIMOFF, P. Eng. Robert (Bob) Kimoff passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital on Tuesday, September 9, 2003. Bob was born in Toronto and graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honors Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Bob played football for the Edmonton Eskimos and has his name engraved on the Grey Cup twice. Bob has been involved in creating great communities in the Calgary area for many years and the following is a brief summary of the path that Bob followed to help give Calgary its charm, Consultant, Property and Development at Burnswest Corporation; President and Chief Operating Officer at Dhow Properties Ltd., Congress Resources Inc., Mount Royal Village Ltd, Virginia Investments Ltd., Thomas Bus Sales (Western) Ltd., and Western Management; Senior Vice President at Cirrus Land Corporation Ltd.; and Executive Vice President, Vice President, Manager, Engineer at Kelwood Corporation/Keith Construction. Bob had Association Memberships with Association of Professional Engineers of Alberta; Engineering Institute of Canada; Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering; and Urban Development Institute of Alberta. He was also Chairman of the Calgary Chapter of Urban Development Institute of Alberta; President of the Urban Development Institute of Alberta; a member of the Housing Committee for the City of Calgary; a member of the Planning and Advisory Committee for the City of Calgary; and Chairman of the Negotiating Committee for Urban Development Institute, Calgary Chapter. Bob enjoyed skiing, tennis, singing, as well as walking BJ and Minnie. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his best friend and wife, Anne; daughter and son-in-law Katherine and Gary Thompson of Vancouver; son and daughter-in-law Robert Jr. and Theresa of Calgary; son and daughter-in-law Stephen and Tina, of Vancouver, his mother Elizabeth of Toronto; and his grandchildren Michelle and Braden of Calgary. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law Dr. Richard and Beth Kimoff of Montreal; and brother William Kimoff of Toronto; sister-in-law Nancy of Toronto; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends. Funeral Services will be held at Bonavista Evangelical Missionary Church (1509 Lake Ontario Drive S.E., Calgary, AB) on Saturday, September 13, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. Special thanks to Dr. J. G.
