ROBERT LONGPRE Obituary
May 29, 1931 – May 23, 2025 With much love and sadness, we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Longpre, on May 23, 2025. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary Longpre (nee Spakowski). Loving father to Jeffery Longpre (Dana Ochy), and daughter, Nicole Keeler (Anthony). Proud and loving grandpa to Tiya Longpre, Alexander Keeler, and Gabrielle Keeler. Great-grandpa to Rei Longpre and Henry Longpre-Hoogerdyk. Beloved uncle to Linda Wintermute (Brian), Nancy Dakin (Peter), and Rene Longpre. Bob was predeceased by his siblings, Donald Longpre and Raymond Longpre. Bob was born in Windsor, Ontario, to parents Rene and Lena Longpre. Bob loved hunting, fishing and a good game of cribbage and bridge. Always a stoic and quiet man, when he spoke, his family listened, and often, it was a really bad "Dad" joke that made everyone laugh. There will be a graveside service for family and close friends, where his ashes will be placed beside Mary at Springcreek Cemetry, in Mississauga. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer.ca

Bob was my boss in the 80's. Bob Longpre Pontiac in Westminster. I worked there for several years, he was a nice man. I am grateful to have known him and Mary. God rest his soul!
