My Mom and I recently found this picture while going through our picture albums.
Bob was 21 at the time. It was the occasion of my parents' 25th wedding anniversary.
It is a reminder of all the good times we shared.

It has been a month now and I still find myself in complete disbelief that you are gone. You were my one and only boss. You taught me so much; especially that "everything is possible". You were so generous with me, so much so that I always tried to be careful what I asked for with you, as I knew you hated to say "no". We worked together like clockwork -I miss you terribly! My heart goes out especially to your family and to all those that knew and loved you.

To Carolyn, Montanna, and the Nihon Family,
I was so deeply saddened to hear the news of Bob's passing. Bob was a mentor, a partner and a friend. I cherish the memories of the times we spent together. His passion for his family and friends, his enthusiasm for each and every day, and the joy he so willing shared with others, will continue to keep his memory in my thoughts and in my heart. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Uncle Bob as our children called him was always the most generous, kind and larger than life person in our lives. We all loved him deeply. We will especially miss his laughter, as it was as powerful as he was and could fill a room. Our thoughts are with the entire family and we are just so thankful to have had someone as special as Bob Nihon in our lives and our children's lives.

Our very deepest sympathy to the Nihon family. What a shock this is to think that we will never see Bob again! It has been maybe 8yrs since we met him and Carolyn in Orlando for dinner. We talked about the fun times we had in Nassau with our families. Our children have such fond memories of times with Greg and Robbie...our hearts go out to them at this sad time. Bob was so full of life with that wonderful laugh that we will never forget...God be with him and his family.

There are no words to express the sorrow I feel having lost such a great and loving friend. We spent many good times together, sharing our laughter. Wealth never came between us. While he was building his fortune and I was sorting through my credit cards, we would meet, and he always made me feel like a millionaire. We shared the most important thing, the love of life. I will always miss my "Bobbie Nihon". To the family, and to all our friends, I offer my sincere condolence. May he rest in peace.
