Robert PILLAR Obituary

ROBERT STANLEY PILLAR Robert Stanley Pillar passed in peace at the age of 83 on Thursday, January 2, 2020, at the North York General Hospital. Loving husband of Jean (Walker) Pillar and loving father of Rob, Cathy, and David. Proud grandfather of Ruth, Matthew, Braydon, and Kyle. Brother of the late Richard Pillar. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Robert will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a devoted husband, loving father, and a true friend. He has chosen to leave this world without ceremony or service. We, his family, respect his wishes and miss him deeply.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Bob Pillar....he was a great neighbour and friend along with Jean in our communities of Briar Hill....he was President of our Probus Club of Alliston in 2010/2011 And always welcomed everyone who came through the door with a wonderful Smile....and always a little joke or two.....our Condolences to Jean and all the Pillar Family......Paul And Midge Facciol

Don and I were fortunate to reunite with Jean and Bob when we moved to Alliston in 2005. We travelled with them and had many happy times together

He will be sorely missed as Don is who passed away in March.
