POWERS, Robert 'Bob'

Passed away at Deer Park Villa,
on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, in
his 85th year. Loved brother of
Dave Powers. He will also be
dearly missed by Anna Maria
Morris, Rick Singh and his wife
Adrianne and their children Ava,
Ilena, Gabrielle, and Ayden. Bob
was a teacher at Grimsby
Secondary School for well over
35 years. He had a passion for
teaching and touched the lives of
thousands of students. He loved
music and the arts and
sponsored a number of sports
teams in the Grimsby
community. He will be missed
by all of those who knew
and loved him. Visitation at
STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB
FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain
Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755)
on Friday, January 30, 2015,
from 6-9 p.m. Prayer Vigil Friday
at 7 p.m., at the Funeral Home
Funeral Mass will be celebrated
at St. Joseph Roman Catholic
Church, 135 Livingston Avenue,
Grimsby, on Saturday, January
31, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. Interment
Queen's Lawn Cemetery. If
desired, memorial contributions
to the AIDS Committee of

My condolences, 8 years late though they may be. Mr. Powers was a fantastic French teacher, and one of the kindest people I´ve ever met. He gave a home to my best friend, without ever thinking twice. Bonsoir, Mr. Powers.
