Hello Joan, Paul, Sheri, Charlotte, Dixie and families.
I read with sadness Bob's obituary in Saturday's Globe and Mail.
Bob's dad Dick and my dad Allen were brothers. I remember with fondness, times our families shared at the farm in Merrickville. Bob taught me to drive the tractor. I particularly remember the mischievous glint in his eyes and his great sense of humour. Every time Bob travelled west across the country he would stop in Winnipeg to visit my mother Kay Preston. She was a great fan of Bob's...they seemed to share a similar sense of humour.
My sincere sympathies on the loss of your husband, father and brother as well as the many other loved ones he leaves behind.
Sincerely,
Pat Harper (cousin)

Hi Joan, Paul, Sheri, Charlotte, Dixie and families.
I read with sadness Bob's obituary in this past Saturday's Globe and Mail.
Bob's dad Dick and my dad Allen were brothers and I remember with fondness times our families shared together at the family farm near Merrickville. Bob taught me how to drive the tractor. I remember Bob's wonderful sense of humour and the ever present glint of mischievousness in his eyes. Every time he travelled west, he would stop in Winnipeg to visit with my mother, Kay Preston. She was a great fan of Bob's and his visits meant a great deal to her. She died in 2012.
Please accept my since sympathy on the passing of your husband, father and brother.
Sincerely cousin Pat Harper
