ROBERTSON, Robert Kenneth
(December 22, 1927 - April 6, 2012)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Robert Kenneth Robertson after a battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Margaret for 46 years. Devoted father of Gary (Kelly). Fondly remembered by his five grandchildren Samantha, Hayley, Payton, Ireland and Tucker. Dearly missed by his sisters Betty Reid (Andrew) and Beverley Johnston. Robert is predeceased by his sisters Isabel McGraw, Irene Forrester and his brother Gordon. The family would like to thank the Palliative Care Unit at York Central Hospital for their compassionate care. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Christ Church (8045 Islington Ave.,Woodbridge) at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Following the service, a celebration of Bob's life will take place at The Country Club (20 Lloyd Street, Woodbridge) at 3:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
