ROBERT SINCLAIR Obituary
Robert Mackenzie Sinclair passed away peacefully on April 7, 2024, surrounded by the love of his two children. Born in Toronto, Bob spent his formative years living with his father Robert Ardagh Sinclair, with guidance from his older sisters, Gwyneth (Powell) and Muriel (Osburn). Bob attended the University of Guelph to study Dairy Science, graduating in 1953. Bob began his career working in various dairies including Sealtest in Montreal, where he met his future wife, Anne Tomalty, followed by many happy years in Toronto, at the Ontario Milk Marketing Board. He went back to his production roots, spending the remainder of his career as Vice-President of Production for Gay Lea Foods. His career was marked by dedication and excellence in the field, including time as President of, the Ontario Dairy Council. Bob's greatest source of pride and joy was his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Anne, and together they built a loving home in Lorne Park, Mississauga. Bob provided unwavering support for his children, Rob and Stacey; and their spouses, Suzanna and Joe. Bob was adored by his grandchildren: Luke, Owen, Bella, Hayden, Emmett, and Joel. Bob was known for his active involvement in his local church. His faith played a large part in his steadfast support for his community. Bob leaves behind a legacy of compassion, integrity, and generosity that will continue to inspire all who knew him. Funeral service May 23rd, at 1 p.m. at Clarkson Road Presbyterian Church, Mississauga.
