ROBERT URIE SKELLY It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing away of our 'Pops' at the age of 92 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre on Saturday August 7th, 2010. Dear husband of Muriel for 20 years. Predeceased by his dear wife Audrey, his wife of 46 years and mother of his 10 children. Loving father of Margaret (Ken Burgess), Julia, Robert (Helja), William (Heather), Janet (Ron Brace), Aandeg (Marcel Donio), Rhonda (Lou Borean), Alan (Elizabeth), Lisa (Ivan Wehrli), David (Lesley). Grandfather of 21 and great-grandfather of 16. Predeceased by 2 grandchildren. In his early years Pops supported his family as a master electrician and later became a partner in Fulford & Blakey Plumbing Supplies. He also enjoyed and was busy over many years with building projects of Jehovah's Witnesses. Pops and his family immensely enjoyed their frequent travels to Treasure Island Florida, where countless memories were made. Pops was always cheerful and optimistic and will always be remembered for his kind and generous spirit. All are welcome to any or all of the following events: Mount Pleasant Visitation Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Rd. (east gate entrance, 416-4855572) Visitation - Thursday, August 12th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Friday August 13th, 'Memories of Robert' event at 1pm. Reception to follow. The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 77 Champagne Dr., Toronto, where a memorial service will be held Saturday August 14th, at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your charity of choice, or the Judy Dan Wound Care Clinic. www.ontariowoundcare.com
