SPARLING, Robert Scott
With valour and grace, at the Ottawa General Hospital on Tuesday, October 19, 2004, Robert Scott Sparling in his 43rd year of life. Robert, son of Rev. William and Jane Sparling, grandson of Mrs. Marion Fray of Kingston. Brother of Stephen Sparling (Michele) of Oakville and of Mary Jane Sparling of Burlington. Uncle to Michael and Stephanie. Rob is also survived by his many uncles and aunt and other relatives of the Sparling and Fray family.
Long time companion of Michael McCrimmon and his son Joseph. Robert will also be missed by Betty McCrimmon, Theresa McCrimmon and Richard Brown and their children Matthew and Melissa, Mary and George Steinke and their children Kristyn, Sarah and Peter, Tim and Brigitte McCrimmon and their son Jason, as well as his many friends.
Rob was an avid sailor and craftsman. He served as the Chair of the Board of the Canterbury/Mark Perri Clinic in Toronto. Rob also volunteered at the Lanark Animal Welfare Society in Smiths Falls, Ontario.
Funeral Services will be held at St. John Evangelist Church (2 George Street, Smiths Falls, Ontario) on Saturday, October 23rd, 2004 at 1:00 p.m.
There will also be a service held at St. Bonaventure Church (1300 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario) on Friday, October 29th, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. Presided by his good friend Friar Rick Riccioli. Family will accept donations made to the Canterbury/E.Mark Perri Clinic.

Robbie was my partner for 4 1/2 years in the 80's
I just found this now and am sorry I didn't know in advance.
He was the best boyfriend and I miss that smile.
