TODD, Robert (Rob) V., Mar. 5, 1933 - Dec. 16, 2011
Rob passed away peacefully in Oakville surrounded by family. He will be deeply missed by Eleanor, his best friend and wife of 52 years. He remains an inspiration to his children, Susan (Richard), Stephen (Jennifer) and Jim (Judy), especially for his courage, gentleness and good humour in his final months. He was much loved Grandpa Rob to Erin, Michael, Russell, Robin, Warren, Olivia and Declan. Born and educated in Scotland, Rob immigrated to Canada as a young geologist. His career in industrial marketing took him from Montreal to Oakville and Germany. He enjoyed travel, tennis, golf and fishing trips in Algonquin Park, and could always be counted upon to lead a sing-along.
