ROGER JOHN TUDOR BALL On March 31, Roger Ball died at Hospice House in Kelowna, B.C. at the age of 70. Because his cancer likewise did not survive, Roger declared the duel a draw. Roger was predeceased by his parents Gertrude and John Ball of Toronto, and leaves behind his beloved wife of 41 years, Dr. Barbara Massey, sons Graeme (Katherine) and Kevin (Sophie), brother Gordon (Jane), nephew Jonathan (Alexa), niece Jennifer (Colin), brother-in-law Doug (Sandi), nieces Brenda (Stephen) and Linda (Rob), and many beloved cousins. A memorial service will be held in Kelowna at Trinity Baptist Church on Tuesday April 14, 2009 at 2 p.m. Also, a celebration of Roger's life will be held in Ontario on Sunday August 23, 2009, 2 p.m. in Copeland Hall at YMCA Geneva Park near Orillia. Donations in lieu of flowers will be welcomed in Kelowna by the Kelvern Celtic Society (Box 20127, Towne Centre Mall, Kelowna, B.C.
