Ron CAMERON

RON CAMERON Ron Cameron of Stratford, Ontario, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2022. Ron was born and raised in Quebec City and went on to graduate from Queen's University in its first class of environmental engineers. After a busy career that took him across North America, Ron accepted a buyout from Texaco, shifting into the life of a dedicated community volunteer who also loved travel, wine, politics, the outdoors, and for short times, the roles of consultant and restaurant owner. He left a life that had been diminished in recent years by a combination of amyloidosis and stroke. Ron will be missed by sons Neal (Christie), Craig (Loni), and Scott (Sara); his grandchildren, his stepdaughters Elizabeth (Chris), Chelsey (Joe), and Melinda (who was particularly active in Ron's care); his step-grandchildren, and his spouse, Charlene Gordon. Cremation has taken place.
