I just saw this obituary now, long after the fact. My heart goes out to Melanie and her children. Melanie and I were good friends in university, and I have fond memories of Ron. He was always a gentleman. He was smart, kind, and funny. Please accept my sincere condolences. Love, Monika

Peter, so very sorry to hear of the loss of your brother. I didn't know him but to lose a family member is devastating and I hope you're alright.

Ron will certainly be missed around the family/friends Christmas and birthday celebrations Melanie always hosted. You never knew what zinger Ron was going to say, but you knew you were going to belly laugh. Ron knew a lot about a broad range of subjects and was happy to talk about anything and everything. Of course he would always have a well thought out opinion and would enthusiastically debate on the subject. We will miss those dinners and conversations.
Melanie, Evan, Davis, Ryan and Cameron, know that our family is always here for you.
Much love.
