It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald B. Homuth on December 27, 2024. Adoring husband of 52 years to Maureen, affectionately known as Bo. Proud father of Jennifer and David (Sarah). Adoring grandfather of Logan, Cole and Mackenzie. He was very proud of his roots, having been born in Stratford and raised along with his late sister, Shirley in Goderich. Ron will be remembered for his infectious smile and unwavering loyalty to the Toronto Blue Jays. He had a healthy competition with Jennifer over visiting all the ballparks in Major League Baseball and he was very proud of making it to 31, many of them with Jennifer after he retired. Ron was also the coach of David's baseball and hockey teams and in the winter, he would often be up 2 or 3 times a night trying to keep a backyard rink going. Ron was a proud 40-year employee of Ford Motor Co and in true salesman mode, he would try to convince anyone he met to buy one. Spending winters golfing in Florida, running an investment club in his condo, and cruising to various ports of the world became his hobby after retirement. Ron was a true gentleman, and his kindness, warmth and love of his family and friends will be remembered and missed by all. Internment has taken place. A farewell to honour Ron will be held at Turner & Porter Neweduk-Erin Mills Chapel, 1981 Dundas St W, Mississauga on Sunday, January 5, 2025, between 1-4 p.m. For those who wish to do so, a donation in his name may be made to the
Canadian Cancer Society or Parkinson's Canada. Condolences may be made through
