Ronald WILLIS Obituary
WILLIS, Ronald George
Ronald George Willis passed
away peacefully on Wednesday,
June 29 while holding on to the
hands of his family. Ron lived his
life to the fullest every day. He
was the founder of the
international company, Willis
Supply, operating out of
Burlington, Ontario. His business
took him around the world
sourcing quality building
products. He retired in 2006, but
stayed close to the company in a
founder's role. Ron loved his
winters in Palm Springs,
California and his summers at
Charing Cross on Lake Muskoka
But, his greatest love was his
family. Leslie was the love of his
life and his very best friend
Their 37 year love story was full
of adventure and fun. Leslie
remained by his side as they
faced his last days together. She
will miss him dearly. Ron will be
forever missed by his son, Peter
Willis and his wife Catherine and
their children Emmanuel (K.K)
and Roni (Sayuri). He will also be
sadly missed by his daughter
Kimberly Miner and her husband
Dusty and their children, Emily,
Lucas and Sarah. Nothing could
put a smile on his face like his
grandchildren. Ron will be
remembered by all who knew
and loved him as a man with a
heart of gold. He loved nothing
better than being in a room full
of laughter with a glass of good
red wine surrounded by people
he loved. He greeted everyone
with a hug and was genuinely
interested in everyone he met
His home was always open and
everyone who entered left as a
friend. A gentleman till the end
He lived well. He loved well. The
world is simply a better place
because he was here.
