Rose FEAVER Obituary

Rose Marie Feaver, (nee Berdini) a beloved daughter, sister, sister-in-law, zia, cousin, true friend, tireless volunteer, retired REALTOR® and so much more, passed away on June 12, 2024, after a short and unexpected, but courageous battle with cancer. Rose faced her illness with unwavering strength, her spirit undiminished. Her recent health journey truly demonstrated what we already knew about Rose's true nature. Her independence, her resilience, her bravery, her sense of humor, her sense of adventure and mischief, her grace and her ability to inspire and share love was apparent and touched the hearts of everyone she encountered. Born in 1945, Rose was a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew her. Rose grew up in Toronto but built her life in Collingwood where she found her calling in real estate. Rose conducted her business with honesty, integrity and with an incredible work ethic. Real estate is a business built on relationships and Rose figured that out early, allowing her to develop so many friendships with her fellow REALTORS ® and clients that have lasted a lifetime. Rose was always up for an adventure and loved to travel. When not exploring the world, Rose easily found a way to have fun locally. Simple pleasures like gardening or reading a great novel, enjoying a game of maj with good friends, a trip to the beach and/or the casino, a hike in almost any weather, enjoying local theatre, shopping for bargains, cooking and hosting dinners and spending special occasions with family and friends, a spontaneous visit or a quiet evening shared with dear friends always made Rose happy. Rose's legacy lives on. A testament to compassion, resilience, and the bonds that tie us together. She taught us that pain need not define us, but rather, it can be a canvas for love and connection. As we mourn her passing, let us celebrate the light she brought into our lives and carry it forward. Rose, you will forever remain in our hearts. May your spirit find peace, and may your memory be a blessing to us all. Thanks for showing us what it looks like at the end of a life well lived. Rose's family would especially like to thank Dr. Catherine Moran and the very special doctors, nurses and PSW's at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital, Royal Victoria Hospital and Campbell House Hospice in Collingwood, as well as acknowledge the support of the caregivers from our local community services. It has been a blessing to have met them all and experienced their kindness. Donations can be made to Nature League (Collingwood), Hospice Georgian Triangle (Campbell House) or Collingwood General and Marine Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood.
