With profound sadness we announce the passing of our father Ross at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on February 11, 2026, at age 90 surrounded by family. Ross was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Patricia three months before his death. He is survived by his children, Anne Fulford-Brown (John) and Craig Hutchison (Janice) and their children, Lauren and Matthew as well as his sister-in-law, Judith McCulloch of Ancaster. He was predeceased by his adored grandson, Campbell Smith and his two sisters, Orrie Bonney and Betty Hudson. Ross grew up in Ottawa, Ontario and went to Glebe Collegiate excelling in all sports. He graduated from the School of Business at Western University in 1957 where he was on the swim team and competed in track and field. Ross was a Sales Executive at IBM and Senior Vice President at Canada Systems Group before founding his own business The Hutchison Report in 1988. He was a member of the Oakville Golf Club for 50 years and was its President twice. He was Chair of the Trustees for St. John's United Church in Oakville and spearheaded the rebuilding of its Lusk Hall. Ross loved all sports and grew to enjoy travel and the arts through his wife and her interests. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, fishing buddy and golfer. He was a true optimist and a lifelong Blue Jays fan. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Bluffs Food Bank,
