Ruta PERITO

RUTA PERITO (nee Chiappetta) After waging a valiant battle with cancer, Ruta passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2008 surrounded by her loving family. Ruta was born in Rose Italy on December 11th, 1951. She was pre-deceased by her parents Rosaria and Umberto Chiappetta. Ruta met her husband, Franco, in Canada and they shared 33 wonderful years together. Her two children, Frank (Elyse) and Andrew, of whom she was fiercely proud, were by her side through her entire struggle. Ruta will be sadly missed by her sister Emily (Pat) and brothers Rick (Cathy), Frank (Rosa) and Jim (Eileen) and her many nieces and nephews, other family members and her large circle of friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill for their tender care and support. Friends will be received at the Marshall Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, on Saturday March 29th and Sunday, March 30th, 2008 from 2-4pm and 7-9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday March 31st, 2008 at 10 a.m., St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 10295 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruta's memory may be made to Hill House Hospice, 36 Wright Street, Richmond Hill, Ontario, L4C 4A1.
