Our wonderful mother,
grandmother and aunt passed
away quietly after 98 remarkable
years. Ruth was the youngest
and last surviving child of Eva
Finkelstein and Mendel
Abremovich who immigrated to
Winnipeg as children in the
1880s. Predeceased by Ben, her
beloved husband of 64 years in
2005, Ruth is survived by her
children Betty (Jim), Carol, and
David (Marsha), her adored
grandchildren Emma and Isaac,
and her nephew Daniel Abbott
and his family.
   We wish to express our
appreciation to the caring and
patient staff of the Beverly
Centre Glenmore who showed
the utmost kindness to Ruth and
our family at all times. Funeral
services were held at the Beth
Tzadec Synagogue on Tuesday,
March 4, 2014.
