Ryan Martin Ward GRAND

Ryan GRAND Obituary

GRAND, Ryan Martin Ward
Ryan Martin Ward Grand, born December 6, 1989 died tragically in his sleep in Charleston SC on November 15, 2011. Ryan deeply touched many lives and loved his many friends. His joy for life was exemplified by how he lived and the type of person he was. Family, traditions, and values were of great importance to Ryan. Death cannot mar the sunshine that Ryan bestowed on us all. People gravitated to his incredible warmth, infectious smile, lovable personality, and true loyalty to all. He will forever be deeply missed by his parents, Myra and Bill Grand. He is survived by his beloved brothers, Spencer and Bill (Christin), and sister, Katherine (Matthew), and his many nieces, nephews (Harrison, Jackson, Emmy Grand; Austin, Brooke Spencer and Carter Dainty), aunts, uncles and cousins. Ryan will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Some of Ryan's earliest and closest friends were established at St. Anne's Day School at 6 months of age. Ryan's brilliant mind, love of knowledge, learning and reading were established at an early age and carried through his life. As he was readying to graduate, he planned on a combined law degree and MBA. Friends and family are welcome to share stories and memories with Ryan's family during visitation on Sunday November 20th from 5-8 pm at St. Anne's Episcopal Church, 3098 St. Anne's Lane NW, Atlanta, GA 30327 /404-237-5589 A joyful celebration of his short but wonderful life will be held at St. Anne's Episcopal Church, 3098 St. Anne's Lane NW, Atlanta, GA 30327, 404-237-5589 at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 21. A reception will follow. While he left us too soon, help us celebrate Ryan's life, not mourn his death, as he would so want us to. In lieu of flowers, and in recognition of his love of life, please make donations to the Ryan Grand Scholarship Fund at St Anne's Day School, 3098 St Anne's Lane, Atlanta, Georgia 404-237-7024.
