SALME PROZES Salme (nee Lember) Prozes 91, passed away February 6, 2022. A native of Tallinn/ Saremaa, Estonia, she fled her home country at the height of the Soviet occupation at the end of WWII to Germany and then to a new life in Canada, where she became a proud Canadian. Salme was born to the late Sophia Lember and Gustav Pikk. In addition to her parents, Salme was also preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Konstantin and sons Karl and Peter. Salme is survived by her son Andrew Prozes and wife Nonie, daughters Mary- Ann Prozes and husband Michael, and Christina Prozes and partner Pete. She is lovingly remembered by grandson Kevin Prozes and partner Noel, great-grandson Grayson, and grandson Darin Prozes and wife Gillian and great-grandson Tyler and great-granddaughter Sonya. She is also lovingly remembered by Rya Kirkwood Prozes, and extended family and friends across Canada, USA and Estonia. Salme was an independent and strong woman who lived for her family, friends and her beautiful gardens. Future celebrations will take place in Kingston, Toronto, Guelph and Estonia.
