SAMUEL BERN Peacefully in Montreal, with his daughter by his side, on Wednesday, November 9th, 2005, at the age of eighty. Beloved husband of Celia Kershner. Devoted father of Roslyn, Sheldon, and Ivan. Grandfather of two. Loving brother and brother-inlaw of Charles (Chuck) and Debbie, Morris and the late Toba Hersh. He will be sadly missed by his uncle Jack and Auntie Rae, his nephews Seymour and Kenny Hersh and family, the Beraznik family, brotherin-law Sidney Kershner and family, and by his many friends. Special gratitude to Mirella Pini, his devoted and long time friend and assistant. He will be sorely missed by everyone at BOW Plastics, where he was President and CEO. The family would like to thank his wonderful caregivers Bill, Rachel and Dawn, who gave him peace and comfort, and the staff at the Waldorf for their care. Special thanks and gratitude to Dr. Rubin Becker for his friendship and support.
