Age 83. Peacefully, at home, on Sunday, November 29, 1998 surrounded by his family. Beloved and cherished husband and best friend of Gert and devoted father of Gerald and his wife Madeleine, and Carol. Special Grandpa to Julian. Son of the late David and Toba Zeldin. Brother and brother-in-law of Belle Wolinsky, Larry and Kay Zeldin, Ralph and Joan Zeldin, Noel and Betty Zeldin, Max and Ruth Slomin, Sally Snider, and the late "Syd" Gould, Bea Braun and Mary Zeldin. Sam was the adored uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. Sam will be remembered for his love of life, his creativity, and his insatiable curiosity.
