My thoughts and prayers are with Ivan Fecan, Sandra Faire's family, and friends during this Christmas season!
Grateful for the financial support of philanthropists who help make the arts / entertainment possible and affordable!
Film, comedy, theatre, art, music and dance can all help heal/ ease pain , make us feel less alone , help us cope with loss , permit us to express anger, sadness, fear, or pain and help lift us out of the depths of despair to a place of joy, gratitude, peace, and happiness!
The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not get over' the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again but you will never be the same. Nor should you be the same nor would you want to.
Time heals all wounds but does not take away the scars that we must always learn to live with!
Merry Christmas and May 2020 bring you lots of peace, joy, good health, and happiness!

I have just learned of Sandra's passing; I am shocked and saddened. She was a national Canadian treasure. Her support for Canadian artists was unwavering. She gave me my first TV production job on Video Hits, and has left an impression on me that will last forever. As I now teach digital film making to college students, I reflect on my experiences that I learned from her in making television. She was an extraordinary lady. The Canadian production industry has lost a giant. My deepest sympathies to her family.

Sandra was one of the nicest and caring people I had the pleasure of working with
at CBC as Unit Manager on many of her Specials and Comics series. I will forever be grateful to her, and may she be at rest.

Sandra always saw talent and surrounded herself with talented people whom she encouraged and promoted.
Sandra was supported by Ivan and she supported him. I was always touched by the tender care and wholehearted support that they demonstrated for each other.
Sandra demanded complete commitment and hard work from those she worked with. She had the most commitment and worked the hardest of all.
Sandra was always the classiest lady and had the classiest taste. Stylish to the end!
Sandra's commitment to her crews and talent was unparalleled. We were spoiled by her generosity and concern. An inspired leader and caring mother figure.
Sandra helped me personally grow and refine my craft. For that I thank you Sandra and will be eternally grateful.
