Sandy HILLMER Obituary

It is with broken hearts that Eric, Michael, and Nicole must inform you about the passing of their beloved Sandy. In the early hours of Saturday, July 25th, she passed away suddenly at her adored condo in Thornbury, Ontario. Sandy was loved by her husband of 41 years Eric, her children Michael and Nicole and her parents Beryl and the late Harry Graham. Dear sister of the late Mary and Frank. There were so many others we could mention here whom she loved the list would fill this page. Let it be known that you were loved by her, and deeply. She loved cottaging for many years up at the beautiful Georgian Bay. A graduate of Victoria College at University of Toronto, Sandy taught marketing at the Ryerson School of Business before pursuing a long and successful career in the contract furniture industry throughout North America. Friends will remember Sandy for her love of Bridge, travels with friends and family, and her many shopping excursions. But mostly she will be remembered for her generosity of spirit which knew no bounds for those lucky enough to have known her. There will be a celebration of Sandy's life on Friday, August 7th at 1 p.m. at the Unity Church of Truth, 173 Eglinton Ave. West (2 stoplights west of Yonge Street), Toronto. There will be some time with family and friends at 12 p.m. Please do come. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. She always liked to say: 'Life is a journey, not a destination.' Let the journey continue. SANDY HILLMER
