Sean DELANEY Obituary

DELANEY, Sean Ian
It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Sean Ian Delaney on February 2, 2007 at the age of 40. Sean died from an allergic reaction while on a hunting trip with his father and brother in the State of Sinaloa, Mexico.
Sean was deeply loved by all and will be greatly missed by his best friend and loving wife, Sandy, and by Liam, his young son who was the light of his life. Sean leaves behind his parents, Sandra and Don Udell and Ian and Kiki Delaney, his brothers, Michael (Karyn Bawden), David and Stephen and his sister, Tracy Pyper (Dave). Sean will be greatly missed by his Little Grandma (MacDonald). Sean was predeceased by his grandparents, Al and Silvia Delaney. Mourning his passing are his mother-in-law Sharron Gooding (Dale), his sister-in-law Brenda Budd (Brian), brother-in-law Darryl Kipping (Sheila) and his nephews and niece, Nicholas, Riley, Matthew, Carson and Bridgette. He will be fondly remembered by his Uncle David Delaney (Leslie), Aunt Elizabeth Delaney, Uncle Norrie MacDonald (Marlene) and his many cousins and other relatives.
Sean was a partner at Genuity Capital Markets, a firm that he helped to create. He loved his job and was very proud to be a part of Genuity. He will be sorely missed by his partners, colleagues and his many friends, who all feel blessed to have been part of Sean's life.
Sean lived every minute to the fullest. He was the life of the party. He was well liked and respected. His circle of friends was vast and he will be remembered for his ability to make people laugh. His quick wit and outlandish sense of humour was truly legendary and will be missed. Sean is admired for the way he lived: by his own rules, with integrity and passion. Our hearts go out to Sandy, Sean's soulmate, best friend and the anchor of his life.
We would like to thank the Luis Miguel Nino de Rivera family and John R. Moses for their invaluable assistance in helping to bring Sean home.
The funeral service will be held at TIMOTHY EATON MEMORIAL CHURCH, 230 St. Clair Avenue West, on Thursday, February 8 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception. Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or The Hospital for Sick Children Foundation.
