It is with heavy hearts and great
sadness, that we announce the
passing of Sharon on Thursday,
October 26, 2017 at
Peterborough Regional Heath
Centre after a courageous and
hard fought battle with cancer.
Loving girlfriend to Gerald
Boucher. Cherished daughter of
Connie Wilson and the late Bill
Wilson. Beloved sister to Rick
Cobean (Mary) and Kathy Shears
(Rob). Treasured mother to
Mathew Mahar (Krista Godbout)
and Kyla Mahar (Brad McLeod).
Exuberant grandmother to
Mathew Mahar (Jennifer),
Constance Mahar (Mark), Kelsey
Mahar (Mike), Kaelyn McLeod
and Teagan McLeod and
energetic great-grandmother to
Justin Mahar, Nicolas Mahar,
Hanna Mahar, Jaxon Mahar,
Mason Wood, Khloe Wood and
Arielle Mahar. Sharon lived every
day of her life to the fullest,
always helping others along her
path of life. She was a strong
willed, positive woman who
took on the world head on and
never believed that she couldn't
accomplish what she set her
mind to. She will be sadly
missed by her family, friends
and many clients. The family will
be having a celebration of life at
the end of November, date to be
confirmed. In lieu of flowers,
donations in memory of Sharon
can be made to the YMCA-YWCA
of the National Capital Region.
