So very sorry to hear that this wonderful person has passed away. I was a patient of hers from 1983 to 2018. I was so happy to be one of the nurses caring for Lauren when she had her twins and I met the family. She was an amazing physician to me and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. My most sincere condolences to her beautiful family.

I was a former patient of Dr. Shirley and just found out. I am so sad for the family and and was privileged to return some professional services as I was one of the nurses caring for
Lauren at the birth of her twins. She was an amazing woman and I can imagine how much she is missed. May her memory be a blessing.

Oh my goodness, I am so sadden to hear this sad sad news of her passing. I was one of her patients right from the start when her office was at Young&Eglinton. Dr. Epstein was an amazing doctor, I lived in Mississauga and travelled to Toronto because I had so much trust in her, she always made me feel safe with all my worries I had about my health, she helped me with my infertility, she helped me with my anxiety, she was always there for me and helped me through it all. She never rushed me out of her office. I was so so sad when she told me she was retiring and to this day I think about her every time I need to see a doctor she absolutely was the best. We talked about our families etc.

Omgoodness just found out that Dr Epstein passed away. I'm very saddened that she's gone. I was one of her patients for forty years. We formed a great bond and often talked about our families. She often mentioned her kids and loved going to the cottage as I was from Muskoka. I was very sad when she retired. She helped me to stay healthy.

I only just found out of the passing of my dear Dr. Shirley Epstein...she was the best Doctor ever...I only stopped seeing her, as I moved away...Dr. Epstein, I will always remember you...RIP my beloved Doctor

I too learned yesterday of Dr. Epstein's passing. She was outstanding in care of her patients and will be dearly missed. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

I just found out about the passing of this amazing person. I was Dr Epstein´s patient for almost 40 years, I will never forget her compassion towards her patients. Deepest condolences to her entire family...she will be deeply missed...RIP Dr Epstein.

Dear family of Shirley Epstein. As we just learned of this, a very belated condolences to you from a family of patients of Dr. Epstein. We only know her as our family doctor. I was first recommended to Dr. Epstein in the late 70's while working at TVO since I had no family doctor at the time. She took me on, then my wife and some of my 4 children. I can never express our gratitude for the great, upbeat, honest care she gave me and my family over the years until her retirement. She got us through some difficult times, made great referrals and was always there for us. When she said she was retiring we assumed a long and happy one and so we are so saddened by her loss. Just know her spirit and positive example lives with us always. John and Pat and family.

I was nanny ( Susie) to David , Jeffrey and baby Anna way back in 1981 and remember well the good times I had in your home. Dear Brian. We were both so distraught to hear of Shirley´s passing. I remember running into you after you had recovered from your own illness and I from mine. We were both so blown away about having been ill but so happy to recover and be with our families. So sorry that Shirley couldn´t recover from hers. Our deepest condolences on your loss. My deepest condolences on the passing of your Dear Shirley. I knew Shirley and the Epstein Family as I too grew up in Whitney Pier and spent time at the Epstein house on Victoria Road. I know all of Shirley's wonderful memories will always be of great strength to her incredible Family ,Friends and those who had the opportunity of knowing Shirley. May Shirley rest in peace.

I was indeed saddened to learn of the passing of Shirley Epstein. I grew up with Shirley in the Whitney Pier District of Sydney, Nova Scotia. Shirley and I were classmates in both Hebrew School (Chayder) and public school.
Shirley was very much a brilliant student winning the Governor General's award when she graduated Sydney Academy.
While our paths have not crossed for many years - I am certain all of her patients would have benefited from her vast medical knowledge. Sherley will surely be missed by all her family ... as well as all those who had the good fortune to know her.

So sorry to hear of Dr Epstein`s passing. She was a terrific family G.P. Smart. Caring. Hard worker. And, in addition, a very nice person. We feel blessed to have had her as our doctor for many years and sad that she didn´t get to enjoy a longer retirement.

Shirley was my first doctor while at the U of T in 1983 and continued to be until she retired. She was an exceptional family physician and a wonderful person and I was blessed to have her care over those many years. Sincere condolences to all of her family. She will be sorely missed

Dr. Epstein saw me for over 30 years and my children from birth until she retired. She saw me through so much with her wisdom and kindness and humour. I am so sad - she deserved a long and happy retirement and she was taken far too soon. My deepest condolences to her family. RIP Dr. Shirley
