SOL SHINER Peacefully on Friday, September 2, 2022 at the age of 101 at Kensington Place. Beloved husband of the late Esther Shiner, and cherished companion to the late Nancy Posluns. Loving father and father-in-law of Jerry Shiner and Marie Metcalfe, David Shiner and Karen Wood, Mark Shiner and the late Robyn Shiner, Barbara and Harry Silverberg. Dear brother of the late Diana Wollman, Percy Shiner, Freda Lubin, and Huck Shiner. Devoted grandfather of Erica, Abra,Sophia, Brandon, Matthew, Jeremy,Chelsea, Laura and Micah, Daniel and Rachel, Adam and Morgan, Rory and Brooke, and Eden. Devoted great-grandfather of Micah, Breagha, Griffin, Edison, Shiloh, Yale, Casey, Zachary, and Sloane. Special thanks to Sol's wonderful caregivers Alex Alamillo, Sylvia Valderosa. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 5, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at the Adath Israel Synagogue Section of Pardes Shalom Cemetery.
