Stephanie EVANS Obituary

STEPHANIE EVANS Stephanie Elizabeth Evans (nee Pentland) passed away peacefully with her husband at her side on September 16, 2021. She was born to William (Paul) and Gwenneth Pentland on March 6, 1950. Stephanie was the third youngest of 4 children, Temple, Heather and Erie. She leaves behind her loving husband Arthur, and 2 children Raynor (Gregory) and Fletcher (Kelly), with 4 beautiful grandchildren Connor, Andrew, Charlotte and Michaela. Stephanie was always selflessly looking out for and after all her loved ones. She was an amazing stay at home mother that nurtured her two exceptional children to become a glimmer of the caring, respectful, outgoing and loving person that she was. Once they moved on, she became a successful entrepreneur, operating Millwood Wineworks and giving back to the Leaside community. When she retired, the young man that she trained and mentored took over the business to have the opportunity that he may never have had. Always giving and caring for others over herself. She'll be deeply missed. Sincere thank you to Dr. Helen Mackay and her amazing team at the Odette Centre. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 22 from 3 - 7 p.m. at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles - Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville). To attend the visitation you must R.S.V.P. to [email protected]. There will be a private funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Odette Center at the Sunnybrook Health Science Centre (donate.sunnybrook.ca). Condolences may be forwarded through www.humphreymiles.com.
