STEPHEN J. TAYLOR

(April 11, 1948 – December 29, 2025) Born in Hamilton, Ontario, Stephen J. Taylor was said by his mother, her doctor, and the nurses present at his birth to have "come out dancing"- and many would say he never stopped. Larger than life, Stephen cherished his family, friends, and giving back to his community. His happy place was the cottage in Muskoka. He loved to entertain, collected conversation-starting art, enjoyed the theatre, and travelled the world - especially Paris. Above all, he adored his children and his four granddaughters. Stephen was predeceased by his parents, John J. Taylor and Mary Patricia (née Brady). He is lovingly remembered by his children, Linton (Ali Sadvari) and Meredith (Dan Miles); his granddaughters, Maeve, Clare, June, and Emma, as well as his eight siblings, large extended family, and friends. Visitation will be held at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 6th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow the same day at Holy Rosary Parish at 2:00 p.m.
