I was Steve's best friend in grade school and high school. Steve had an enormous influence on almost everything I did. Steve was great at sports. I tagged along. Steve was social. I was shy. We had sleepovers and even held hands when we walked down the streets of Cote St Luc. One day Steve asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I told him I did not know. He suggested I go into the radio industry because I was always listening to the radio. That was 1965. I am still employed in media. Thank you Steve for helping shape my early life. I am saddened by your passing but I am sure other people were also touched by your spirit. Our memories of you will live on. - Allen Pervin
